Age 10 – 11 |
….I felt like it was a chance to release bad feelings and memories in my mind. It was like starting a new life…
…I felt all relaxed and all renewed for the next thing….my head particularly felt good because that goes under a lot of stress and it felt nice…also my legs, which hurt a lot felt better when the music started….Healing music makes you feel good about things and it is peaceful…..
….I felt like I was in a jungle and I could feel rivers running down my arms. I was also very relaxed and I didn't concentrate on anything but the music…Yes my hands felt all strange. I felt all tingly on my palms….
….In the session I felt total relaxation over my whole body, my leg and arms in particular. My body was all numb and when I had to get up I felt weird. I felt like I was floating on air….
….all in all I really enjoyed it, especially because we missed out on the first proper lesson of the term…..
….I felt peaceful and very relaxed during the session. As he played the music it was so relaxing you forget about everything, including to breathe. I enjoyed it a lot….

Year 8 Age 12 – 13
….I thought this music was a good experience for all of us. It made me feel relaxed and less tense. The music was very soothing to the mind….
….This musical performance was very motivating and I felt as if I was in another world. It was also very relaxing and it was very soothing….it was very mysterious….

Year 8 Age 12- 13 continued
….The music therapy worked in the way that I did not feel tired till the end of the day. I went to bed late the night before and normally I am tired during the day….
….Whilst the music was playing I had no thoughts and I just concentrated on what I was hearing. At times it kind of felt like gravity itself had abandoned me. Sometimes it felt like it was on the side of me and that I was going to fall off a wall….
….I felt one sensation and that was my heart beat, it slowed down a lot during the session….
….mostly I felt relaxed….it made me think about everything in my life. It gave me time to look at the spiritual side of life. The sounds were very relaxing and soothing. I felt a sensation in my toes, as if they were being lifted….
….I was extremely relaxed and extremely calm….
….I fell asleep towards the end because it was very relaxing and cleared my head….
….the sound of the sitar was pretty weird but at the same time relaxing…I started to loosen up and my head started to clear….
….It was so relaxing that I fell asleep and that day I actually had sore ribs. When I woke up they were all better….

….throughout the performance my whole body was relaxed, but it wasn't like a normal relaxed it was more like a spiritual relaxation. The music was soothing and it made me forget about all my problems….
