Dear All, 

I believe all of you are aware of the crisis Japan is facing at this moment.

There is a major rolling blackout going on in Tokyo. In that context the City Office called us and requested to cooperate by cancellation of Darshanam's  regular scheduled events - a Group Music Session on 19th March.

In context of a scheduled 21 March Sitar and Tabla concert  we had to consider  possibility of aftershocks till 21 March as announced by the Japanese Government. We also had to consider the safety and security of audience in case of black out. In addition we found that in order to save electricity, many trains are running 10-90% of their usual frequency. Thus the transporation system has become  unpredictable, and people who will come to the concert might have difficulty in going back, so we cancelled the concert on 21 March.

I thank those who booked the concert in advance. If there are any of you who pre-paid for the concert, the money will be returned to you in full amount. Please contact Darshanam team in such case at darshanam.ticket@gmail.com  or ayudarshanam@gmail.com
